At A1 Housing we appreciate the need to have independence and a good quality of life.

Supported tenancies properties are often shared by a small group of people- A1 will not have more than 6 people sharing an accommodation. Staff are on duty within the house to provide support to tenants with their daily needs.  Anyone with a physical or learning disability, or who has lost some or all their sight or hearing and is 18 years old or over is eligible for a supported tenancy.

Housing Benefit can help with your rent, however like many benefits knowing your entitlement and keeping up to date with the latest guidelines can be hard for many people. A1 Housing is here to help with useful advice and support.

Housing Benefit is a means-tested benefit. The amount you can get depends on your income and capital. Likewise, you can get Housing Benefit if you are working, even full time.

The amount you can get also depends on whether you are in privately rented housing or social housing, and on who lives with you. A1 Housing will ensure that you are guided through the process of claiming Housing Benefits, and that you receive all the funding that you are entitled to. Our experienced team can assist with helping file the relevant claims with the relevant authorities, avoiding delays and other problems.
