What is anti-social behaviour?

The term anti-social behaviour covers a wide range of unacceptable activity that affects people daily. It often leaves victims feeling helpless, anxious and with a seriously reduced quality of life. Terms such as ‘nuisance’, ‘disorder’ and ‘harassment’ are also often used to describe this type of behaviour.

We consider anti-social behaviour to be deliberate and intended acts that may result in nuisance, harassment, alarm and distress. Examples would include;

  • Street Drinking
  • Noise
  • Begging
